Jim began the practice of law trying civil jury trials, handling probate matters, running titles and working for estate planning clients, and he found real estate when he moved to Atlanta during the Olympics. Jim is in our Commercial Services Department where he specializes in commercial real estate closings and business transactions.
He is a pro bono attorney with the Georgia Property Heirs Law Project, a member of the Southeast Land Title Association (Education Committee) and a member of the Stonewall Bar Association (former president).
Jim is admitted to practice law in Alabama, Florida and Georgia.
He graduated with an A.B. degree in History from Duke University, a J.D. degree from The University of Alabama School of Law and an LL.M. (in Taxation) from New York University School of Law.
